Spent the day painting

Old man has a lounge chair with a TV / TV stand, and a dining table with the one solo chair. I think I've decided on house/wall paint colors, too, but not one hundred percent there.

First look at the scultpured puppets

A few hours into sculpting while dealing with bronchitis...fun fun...

Both figures need a bit more work until I'm happy with them, but here's what I've got so far.

Old Man's House

...has been mocked up, glued, and is waiting to dry. Still need to remove all the tape, fill in some gaps with glue, prep, paint and detail the sucker.

Model building is time consuming. Especially when you're sick.

Well, the man's armature and the base body of the dog...very early in the sculpting process... still trying to get the colors right for poochy.... updates to come...

Quick update

Production blog time:

I've started pre-production on an stop-motion animated short. Will be posting updates as I go... with pictures!

Back home in Los Angeles, after a very nice, short trip home. I'm glad we kept it short because I can't function in a humid climate. I was miserable in WV, I was miserable in VA. I can't wait to come home over Christmas, though, because I do miss the snow.


Back onto working news.

Finished my first draft of my collaboration with Ryan. Working on draft two.

Trying to break a story for a script I'm writing this summer, and I have another script on the backburner for the end of summer.

Working on some television stuff with David.

That about sums it up.

Anyway, headed to Burbank for the day, do a little Ikea shopping.
